Community Involvement
From coordinating Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) to neighborhood improvement programs, Lacy has been highly involved in community organizing and health transformation while raising her children in Monterey, CA. As a nutritionist, she also helped to start the Created to Live Ministry at Shoreline Church where members worked on healthy lifestyle change within the context of community. Lacy currently serves as a Parks and Recreation Commissioner for the City of Monterey, where she gets to work with the city staff and members of the public to oversee the amazing parks, beaches, and recreational opportunities for the residents of Monterey.
